Three Day walk run by Wilsons in the Abel Tasman National Park, west of Nelson in the South island
11 - 13 May 2012
This was a guided walk staying the 2 nights at the lovely Torrent Bay Lodge,
including super king beds, ensuites, all food, water shuttles and bag transfers.
Our guide was Marios and we shared the trip with an Auckland couple, Linda and Michael

Friday, 11 May
Van from Motueka to Kaiteretere, then by boat to Onetahuti (Tonga) Bay.  Walked to Bark Bay and then by boat to Torrent Bay
Fine initially and then steady cold rain set in!
Saturday, 12 May
Walked from Torrent Bay across the estuary at low tide to The Anchorage, out to Pitt Head beacon, lunch at Te Pukatea Bay, back to The Anchorage, up to the High Tide track, a side trip to Cleopatra's Pool, and then back around the estuary to Torrent Bay ~ 5 hours walking. Fine weather.
Linda and Michael went kayaking today, but we were joined by Yumi and her guide, Sam
Sunday, 13 May
Walked from Torrent Bay across the estuary at low tide to The Anchorage, up to the High Tide track and then south along the track to Marahau, with a stop at Apple Tree Bay for lunch ~ about 5 hours walking.  Fine weather
